You know, with a 9 month old baby and living so far away from free babysitters family, Mandy and I don’t get to go see many movies. We’ve wanted to see Tropic Thunder for quite a while, and our Netflix is down for a few months, so we went out and used one of those rental vending machine thingies.

Well, Grandma Ellie is here, and she’s giving Nora all of her holiday gifts early. We spent the day at Babies R Us looking at toys, high chairs, and such.

Nora is going to be a spoiled little baby.

She got a new high chair, a stand-and-play music center, xylophone, some maracas, a bucket of shaped blocks with holes the blocks fit in, and a BUNCH of books. The books we got her, but she came home with quite a haul.

It’s been a long day.

From Nora 10-13 to 11-03, 2008

I decided to make Mandy, Nora and I a little blog. That way, we can update family and friends, post pictures, and more. I don’t have a lot to say right now, but I’ll be adding more shortly and getting Mandy set up to post separately.

Ellie, Mandy’s mom and Nora’s Grandma came in for a visit today. She’ll be here for two weeks. Nora is DELIGHTED by her peculiar rendition of “Old MacDonald.”

She was giggling quite a bit. Hopefully we’ll have a lot of fun over the Thanksgiving holiday.
