I’m really excited about our upcoming visit. My parents are coming, and they’re bringing my niece Karoline. Mandy and I technically have vacation days this week and next Monday, but I’m not sure, yet, if we’re going to be able to take them. Our work schedule has been rough lately, but they have been good enough to bar us from the office on weekends after a particularly long streak.

To prepare for the visit, we picked up a really expensive steam cleaner and went to town on the carpets. Mandy did the lion’s share of the work while I kept Nora out of the way. Thanks, Mandy!

We haven’t seen any of them since the holidays, and I’m really looking forward to seeing them play with Nora, since she wasn’t walking back in December, and she now communicates a lot more than she did.

We’re at the zoo. Too bad it started raining as soon as we got here. It cleared up after a while, and we had a lot of fun. Nora is getting changed by Mommy right now, and we’re going to leave as soon as she’s done. My plan I to post picturesfrom our real camera when we get home, but I may just pass out.

I was out running errands when I realized that I was at one of our favorite consignment stores. I thought I’d surprise Mandy with something cute… so I went in and found this awesome dinosaur costume. When I got home, I grabbed Nora and changed her, so Mandy could see the Norasaurus in its natural habitat.
